Meiju was born out of a simple belief — that the most meaningful things are made with your own hands, using ingredients you can trust. We started brewing in our home kitchen in 2020.
Today we still brew in small batches, by hand, the same way we always have.
What Goes In
Hand-selected plums, dried under the sun to concentrate their natural tartness and sweetness before brewing begins.
Unrefined cane sugar feeds a slow, clean fermentation — no artificial sweeteners, no shortcuts.
Clean, filtered water lets the plum flavour speak for itself. Nothing masked, nothing added.
